Circular Barbell

Circular barbells are heavier than captive bead rings and may not be suitable for all new piercings. To prevent losing circular barbell balls, a captive bead can be inserted between the balls. Circular barbells are sometimes called Horseshoe Barbells, although some manufacturers do make Horseshoe Barbells that are U-shaped rather than circular.
